FAQ's
Do I need to be flexible to do yoga?
Not at all. Yoga is what helps you become more flexible, not a requirement to begin. All levels and bodies are welcome, just as you are.
What should I wear?
Wear something comfortable that you can move in easily—leggings, joggers, or shorts with a t-shirt or top. You don’t need anything fancy.
Do I need a yoga mat or equipment?
In this class yes as there is no equipment supplied in the church hall. You will need a yoga mat (cheap from TKMaxx), blanket and cushion.
What if I can't do a pose?
Yoga isn’t about nailing poses—it’s about tuning in to your body and doing what feels good for you. I’ll always offer variations and you’re encouraged to listen to your own needs.
Is yoga a workout of something more gentle?
This class is gentle and grounding, designed to build strength, flexibility, and inner calm. It’s a mix of movement, breath, and rest. The standing postures build strength and resilience.
Can I eat before class?
Try to avoid a heavy meal within 1–2 hours of class. A light snack is fine if you need energy.

A truly wonderful and healing class. The perfect start to the week. Lisa’s classes are very spiritual and provides so much more than stretching and strength building.
