FAQ's
Can a beginner join this class?
This class is best for those with some yoga experience or a reasonable level of fitness. We’ll be moving with intention and strength, so you’ll need to feel confident getting up and down from the floor and holding postures for a few breaths.
What should I wear?
Wear something comfortable that you can move in easily—leggings, joggers, or shorts with a t-shirt or top. You don’t need anything fancy.
Do I need a yoga mat or equipment?
All equipment is supplied by the Humble Hub. If you prefer using your own mat and blanket do bring it along.
What if I can't do a pose?
Yoga isn’t about nailing poses—it’s about tuning in to your body and doing what feels good for you. I’ll always offer variations and you’re encouraged to listen to your own needs.
Can I eat before class?
Try to avoid a heavy meal within 3 hours of class. This class includes Pranayama which is unsuited if you have food in the belly.

I joined one of Lisa’s classes over ten years ago to improve my flexibility for running, but, through her exceptional teaching, I discovered yoga’s wider benefits. Lisa combines a deep knowledge of all aspects of yoga with a very down to earth, lighthearted and practical approach which creates a space where all abilities can enjoy and progress their practice.

Lisa's teaching style is absorbing and engaging. The Thursday rasa yoga classes nourish my body, and my mind and spirit too. I love that Lisa uses themes, weaving them through postures, breathwork, meditation and intention-setting, and keeping continuity between sets of classes. It enables me to get so much out of her teaching. It's like having a reset button.
