What happens at this event?

This Gentle Flow Yoga class is designed to support your nervous system, restore balance and reconnect you with yourself.

This gentle session weaves together breathwork, movement, held postures and guided relaxation to invite you to reset body and mind.

Each session includes:

  • Breathwork to calm the nervous system and settle the mind

  • Movement to strengthen and stretch the body

  • Meditation and stillness to reconnect with your inner self

  • Extended relaxation to nourish body, mind, and soul

FAQ's
Do I need to be flexible to do yoga?
Not at all. Yoga is what helps you become more flexible, not a requirement to begin. All levels and bodies are welcome, just as you are.
What should I wear?
Wear something comfortable that you can move in easily—leggings, joggers, or shorts with a t-shirt or top. You don’t need anything fancy.
Do I need a yoga mat or equipment?
All equipment is supplied by my home studio but you are welcome to bring your own mat and blanket if you prefer.
What is restorative yoga?
Restorative Yoga is a gentle practice using bolsters, blocks and blankets to lead you to a place of deep ease. This style of yoga is suitable to release stress and promote healing.
Can I eat before class?
Try to avoid a heavy meal within 1–2 hours of class. A light snack is fine if you need energy.

This particular class is highly recommended. It is held in Lisa’s beautiful home studio which is an oasis of calm and light. Lisa eases us into the poses taking particular care with those who need adaptations. I have had to stop these classes through a personal change in circumstances and will miss it very much. It was a highlight to my week. Now that I have taken out a membership I can have a class a day rather than one a week so that has softened the blow!
